Questions builders ask

Is this medical advice?

No. wellnizz is a wellness and healthspan layer. It returns observations and interpretations with sources so people can track and improve baseline health. Diagnosis and treatment stay with qualified clinicians.

How is this different from wearable-data APIs?

Most health-data APIs stop at normalizing device feeds. wellnizz also ingests genetics (VCF and WGS) and lab panels, then returns interpretation: scores, longitudinal trends, retest reminders, and action plans with references, plus dashboard specs your UI can render, over REST and MCP.

Where does user data live?

On EU-hosted infrastructure with encrypted storage, per-org scoping, and audit logs. Every user has deletion and export endpoints, and you control access with scoped keys.

Can US products use it? What about HIPAA?

Yes. The API is EU-hosted and built GDPR-first, which travels well. It is not offered as a HIPAA business associate today; US products with HIPAA obligations should self-host, keep PHI out of the hosted service, or talk to us about enterprise options. Contact us

Do I have to use your cloud?

The hosted API is the fastest path and includes a free tier. The same pipeline can also run self-hosted on your own infrastructure, where nothing is metered. Source on GitHub

Which data formats work?

VCF and VCF.GZ including full WGS through an async queue, 23andMe and AncestryDNA exports, CSV or JSON lab panels, WHOOP and Oura over OAuth, plus Apple Health and Garmin exports.

How do agents authenticate?

With scoped bearer keys carrying per-endpoint and per-org claims. Agents discover tools through the MCP manifest at /.well-known/health-agent.json and call the same primitives as REST.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. The free tier includes 250 context reads, 250 queries, 25 uploads, 25 analyses, and 10 wearable syncs per month, plus 1 compact WGS job, at 60 requests per minute, with no credit card.
